Reset Safari's Cache.

If you're having trouble accessing websites, resetting your browser cache might help. To do so, follow these steps: 1) Open up Safari. 2) Click on the menu button at the top right corner of the window. 3) Select Preferences. 4) Scroll down until you see "Safari" under General. 5) Click on the Reset button next to the "Cache" option. 6) Restart your computer. 7) Try opening a website again.

Clean up your Downloads folder.

It's not uncommon to find yourself downloading files into your Downloads folder without realizing it. This happens when you download something from the Internet and then forget where you put it. You'll need to clean out your Downloads folder before you start downloading new things. Here's how to do it: 1) Open Finder (the icon looks like a file folder). 2) Choose Go > Downloads. 3) Look through the list of items in your Downloads folder and delete any unwanted files.

Remove unwanted apps from your system.

If you're having trouble getting rid of an app, try uninstalling it first. Then go to System Preferences > General and click the Reset button. That will remove everything associated with the app from your computer.

Check your System Preferences.

You can also use the Force Quit feature in OS X to quickly close down apps that won't quit by themselves. To do so, open up the App Store and search for the name of the program you want to force quit. Click on the app's icon and then select Force Quit.

Update your OS X.

If you're running an older version of OS X, you should update it to the latest version as soon as possible. This will ensure that you receive all of the security updates and bug fixes that Apple has released since you last updated.
